POLICIES AND IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

Please be certain that you have read the PRIOR  to scheduling your appointment.  By scheduling your appointment you are agreeing to the terms of the booking policy.

In order to provide you with the highest standard of service and personal care and so that you are provided with the one-on-one personal attention that you deserve, I have implemented a strict booking and cancellation policy in hopes of deterring frequent no-show and last minute cancellations, so that everyone who desires is able to enjoy my services. I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to anyone at anytime for any reason.

A 50% booking deposit is required for all services*. Your deposit is processed at the time of booking.  Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to a one-time reschedule if 48 hours cancellation notification is given. 

It is understood that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, however please be mindful that last minute cancellations & "No Show" appointments cost me money.  This courtesy enables me to schedule another client and, in turn, maintains a higher availability of services for you as well as others. (i.e., good appointment karma).  No–Show guests will be charged the FULL amount of services scheduled.  Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice will forfeit booking deposit.

Cancellations and appointment changes cannot be made on-line please call 305 735.3392 ext. 707 to cancel or change your scheduled reservation.  Please do not send cancellations via email.  I am not responsible for cancellations sent via email. To avoid being charged for a no show please be certain to follow the proper channels for canceling your reservations.

WHAT IF I AM GOING TO BE A FEW MINUTES LATE?

Time is valuable to all of us. Punctuality is a necessity for all reservations.  Please plan arrive at least 5- minutes prior to your scheduled time. This will give you time to relax, sip on a beverage or don a smock if needed. Arriving late will possibly interfere with your service and based on availability you may be asked to reschedule for any appointment in which your are more than 10 minutes late.. I reserve the right to charge 50% of the value of booked services for late arrivals that cannot be accommodated.  In the event your late arrival can be accommodated please keep in mind that your appointment will end at its scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed.  If you find yourself running late please call me directly at 305 735.3392 ext. 707.

I firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscience effort to avoid long waiting periods in the studio. If time is critical to your schedule on a particular day, please make me aware of your schedule when scheduling your appointment. 

 HOW CAN I VERIFY A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT? 

You can verify a current reservation by logging on to the appointment system.  Your current reservation will be displayed at the bottom right of the welcome page, at this screen you will have the option of printing your reservation. 
 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?  

Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit and debit cards are gladly accepted. SORRY NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS.  ALSO THERE IS NO CASH ON THE PREMISES.


*If you receive a payment confirmation without an appointment confirmation please contact Rashida B. IMMEDIATELY.

DECLINED PAYMENTS

If I am unable to process your payment for services or no-shows, you will not be allowed to schedule future appointments until your account is brought up to good standing. If we are unable to process your deposit, your scheduled services will be canceled and to make accommodations for guests on the waiting list.

DO YOU ACCEPT GRATUITIES?
I’d prefer that you take a few of my business cards and show your appreciation by referring a friend.

DO YOU SEND APPOINTMENT REMINDERS?
Automated appointment reminders are sent to your e-mail, cell phone or both. E-mail reminders are sent on appointments booked 1 week or more in advance. Text messages are sent directly to your cell phone on appointments that are booked 3 days or more in advance.  Please understand that this is a courtesy and that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?  
Out of respect of the privacy of my guests I do not accept walk-in appointments. Designated walk-in hours may be available soon.

I make every effort to accommodate your schedule, however please understand that I am a solo artist and my schedule is very busy, therefore if it is really important and you need it done, I encourage you not to wait until the last minute to schedule it advance appointments help ensure availability.
  

STUDIO SAFETY
I would like to thank you in advance for helping us maintain a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all of our guests. So, please be aware that children are only permitted in the studio when being supervised by an adult who is NOT receiving services, and must remain seated in the seating area with that supervising adult at all times. The truth is salons are not the most kid-friendly environments and are not conducive to running, jumping and climbing… mirrors fall, product gets broken... you get the picture. Also, NO pets of any kind are permitted into the studio as stated by the Florida State Cosmetology Board. Once again, we greatly appreciate your cooperation.


ARRIVING WITH GUESTS
The studio space is a small intimate setting with very LIMITED SEATING, out of courtesy, comfort and privacy of other guests -- please limit anyone accompanying you to the studio to one. If you arrive with more than one additional guest the others may be asked to wait outside.

 

UNHAPPY GUESTS
What unhappy guests? Seriously, it is our desire that your experience with Rashida B./The B Spot Chicago is a great one from beginning to end, however  I understand there may be circumstances by which my space, ideologies and policies may not be a great fit for your needs. In this instance I am more than happy to refer you to one of my industry peers.
